Stainless steel partitions  provides the most economical solution for heavy traffic and vandalism prone areas. Because it requires no special floor or ceiling construction, installation is easy in new or old buildings. The anti-grip rail provides outstanding rigidity.

Specification / Material Construction 

Mills stainless steel bathroom partitions consist of two sheet metal faces spaced and insulated with a moisture resistant honeycomb core, adhered to the inner surfaces with a moisture-resistant adhesive and set under pressure for 24 hours. Edges are formed to interlock together to provide a watertight fit without loose crown molding. Corners are welded and finished smooth. Panels are minimum 1" thick, unless otherwise indicated. Continuous panel and wall angles shall be single piece for all wall and pilaster connections. Stainless Steel Panels are manufactured from 22 gauge domestic stainless steel #304. Options for finish include #4 satin brushed, textured, or pre-vandalized finish. Shipped with self-adhesive protective coating for protection during installation.

Mills 1" thick stainless steel doors will be no lighter than 22 gauge and will be constructed in same manner as stainless steel partition panels. Includes internal 16 and 14 gauge welded reinforcements at top and bottom hinges, factory-install concealed molybdenum cam, drilled door top to receive top hinge pin providing three-point anchor, and pre-punched latch holes. Door shall permit field installation of integral ADA-approved slide latch.

Mills stainless steel bathroom partition Pilasters (fronts) feature same interlocking construction and finish as panels; minimum 1-1/4. thick. Constructed of 20 gauge material. Secures to floor by fitting over full-width 16 gauge internal channel. Top bracing of aluminum etched and anodized 1" x 1-1/2. "anti-grip" clamp over fronts and securely held by screws to the front. Floor fastenings are concealed by 3" high two-piece shoe of #304 bright annealed stainless steel secured in place with concealed retainer clips Hardware. Compartments shall be provided with all hardware and fastenings to provide a complete installation.

Door Hardware

Mills stainless steel bathroom partitions come with  heavy duty institutional non-ferrous with heavy bright chrome plate or stainless steel with brushed finish. Hinge brackets are wrap around and thru-bolted to the fronts with true gravity cams concealed within the door. Concealed slide latch T-290 with "emergency lift release" requires no twisting motion and meets all ADA standards. Strike keeper is surface mounted or wrap around type. Coat hooks and wall bumpers constructed in same material and finish as door hardware.

Fittings

Brackets are non-ferrous heavy duty chrome plated or stainless steel with brushed finish. Fasteners for hinges, slide latch and keeper are chrome plated or stainless steel theft-proof.
